Project Team leads Llanfabon Church overhaul

The Project Delivery team once again swapped their laptops and hard hats for gloves, strimmers and shears to support another community initiative.

The historic church in Llanfabon, a stone’s throw from our Cilfynydd site in South Wales, is maintained by a small group of dedicated volunteers. It operates with limited funds, so we spent time clearing extensive ivy and overgrowth from the grounds and a number of graves (some dating back to the 1700s).

This was our best-attended community event to date, with the Project Delivery Team working alongside Quinbrook and PEP. The additional helping hands made a huge difference in completing the transformation.

Members of the church were delighted with the result; their reaction a great reminder that small acts of support can make a real difference to the communities that host our projects.
