Optimising performance is key to Welsh Power. We are working with world leading technology providers to deliver efficient, low emissions and flexible energy and stability solutions. Our flexible power plants start fast and can run from one minute to one year. Our grid stability developments provide inertia, fault current and reactive power to the system. The quantity of renewable energy on the system is often restricted due to grid stability issues. Our developments alleviate these issues and permit more renewable energy plant to operate. We support the network and enable zero carbon generation.
